I believe that self-care and nourishment should be prioritized in the pursuant of good mental health. So, it’s high time we take into consideration, the consumption of these essential fruits and vegetables to attain a mental health stability, other than longing for drugs when a disorder is full-blown.

In a research conducted at the McLean Hospital and published in the February 15, 2005 issue of Biological Psychiatry, certain foods were said to be better at treating depression than antidepressant drugs that have side effects of medication. It was found that foods high in a compound called uridine and omega-3 fatty acids were able to reduce the symptoms of depression even better than different antidepressant drugs that were tested in the process.
