Marie Laveau
Born a free woman of woman of color in 1801, in Louisiana where voodoo dolls its practice were popular. Laveau being a Voodoo practitioner, became the very icon and tagged the “Voodoo Queen of New Orleans.”
World leaders visit her for advice as she was greatly talented in voodoo rituals and necromancy. She died peacefully in her home in 1881.
