Warning Signs of Mental Illness

According to US National Institute of Mental Health – Mental illness are very common more than cancer, diabetes, or heart disease. Being aware of these early warning signs, may guaranty speedy intervention that may help reduce the severity of an illness.

Beyond the tale signs of mental illness, take note of the following symptoms in other to be in proper control of your health and that of loved ones:

Changes in sleep.

When you notice repeatedly occurrence of abnormal changes in sleep. Such as difficulty in falling asleep, awakening an hour to several hours earlier than desired in the morning or sleeping for much longer than you used to.

Confused thinking.

Problems with concentration, memory, or logical thought and speech that are hard to explain with suicidal thoughts.

Changes in feelings.

Appetite and weight changes.

Emotional Outbursts.

Getting angry suddenly can be a symptom of mental illness.

Heart palpitations, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, flushing, hyperventilation, shortness of breath, dizziness, headache, sweating, tingling and numbness, choking, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle aches, tremors/shaking.
